If you answered yes to either of those questions, then you’re going to like what you will see in our review of KADIRYA High Back Executive Office Chairs.
About the KADIRYA Brand
KADIRYA is a sister company to LCH. Both companies offer a variety of office furniture aimed at the value segment of the market. Oftentimes, when you’re looking at KADIRYA product specs and descriptions, you’ll find references to LCH. Sometimes the two companies simply copy/paste and use the exact same descriptions for their products.
As with any product sold at the lower end of the market, none of the chairs KADIRYA makes are perfect. They all trade features for lower quality materials. That’s just the reality of the value segment of the market.
As you’ll see though, these chairs offer solid value for the money. So, if you don’t have a lot to spend, you’ll find a lot to like here.

A good, basic ergonomic Executive office chair. Also, per the manufacturer – it won’t spontaneously explode! (surely this must be a language barrier issue, but it gave us a chuckle!)

Great looking chair that offers the perfect blend between cloth and leather upholstery. Leather accents but cloth where your back is and on the seat means you won’t sweat like you do in a leather chair.

One thing we should make a note of is the fact that all of these chairs arrive at your doorstep unassembled.
While there is some variance where total assembly time is concerned, on average, expect it to take 45 minutes to an hour if you’re doing the job solo. It will only take about 30 minutes if you have a trusty assistant to provide a second pair of hands.
Also, note that all of the chairs we’ll be talking about in this review feature an ergonomic design and lumbar support. Proof that you don’t have to spend a ton of money to get these features.
KADIRYA Reclining Leather Office Chair
Recommended For: Anyone. This is the best chair KADIRYA makes.
* While aesthetics is a matter of taste, aesthetic flexibility is a measure of how easily a given design would fit into a wide range of home décor schemes.
**Brand Reliability is a measure of the strength and longevity of the brand, which by extension, is a measure of the level of support you can expect.
The KD 1018–2 model can rightly be considered the flagship of the KADIRYA lineup.
It’s generously padded and comfortable, especially where the headrest and arms are concerned. It’s standard block foam, but you’ll be pleasantly surprised at how comfortable it is.
Be aware though, that even the flagship of the line has the same core limitations that the other chairs the company makes suffer from.
The base is nylon, the casters are 2” in diameter, which means that it will struggle on plush carpet, and the upholstery is bonded leather.
Bonded leather is real leather. It’s a step up from vinyl or cloth upholstery, but it’s made from leather scraps that have been fused together. As such, it’s not as supple or durable as grain leather and will show its age much more quickly.
Also, be aware that the chrome plating on the base is simply sprayed onto the nylon, so it’s apt to chip off quite easily if you bang the chair around.
Hands down, the best feature of this model though, is its recline function. The Ottoman tucks away under the seat when not in use, so at first glance, there’s no outward indication that this is anything other than an office chair.
Although the company mentions that you can take a nap in the chair, it’s not quite that comfortable. Still, if you had to in a pinch, a short nap wouldn’t be out of the question, but don’t make the mistake of thinking that you’ll get a decent night’s sleep on it. You won’t.
The bottom line is, it’s a great chair for light to moderate use, but it won’t last long under the strain of heavy daily usage. As long as you’re mindful of that, it will serve you well. We recommend it.
Note: Add half a star to this chair’s overall rating if you can catch it on sale. It’s a good value at full price, but if you can get it at a discount, it’s heads and shoulders better than any other chair in the KADIRYA line.
KADIRYA KD 1010 Office Chair
Recommended For: Anyone looking for a modestly priced Executive chair with full ergonomic supports.
As mentioned in the summary table here in our KADIRYA Chair review, we regard this chair as KADIRYA’s best overall ergonomic design. The shape of the chair back takes its cues from massage chairs. It’s designed in a subtle S-shape that closely mimics the natural position of your spine.
Combine that with other ergonomic design elements, fairly generous padding, and lumbar support, you’ll find that this model provides a level of comfort that far exceeds its modest price tag.
While not everyone will be excited by it, this model also offers flip-up arms. So, if for some reason, you’d rather have an armless chair, you can just push them up and out of the way.
That said, it’s still a low-end chair, and has the same fundamental drawbacks as all the KADIRYA models do. It’s made with relatively low-cost materials that won’t stand up well to heavy daily use, which impacts you in two ways:
- The cheaper materials are somewhat fragile and prone to breaking or snapping in two especially if you’re at or near the maximum weight of 250 pounds.
- The bonded leather is apt to start showing its age very quickly.
As long as you bear those facts in mind, this chair is fantastic, and honestly, worth more than they’re asking for it.
Note: This model reclines to an impressive 120-degree angle. In practice though, you won’t get a lot of use out of that as the chair doesn’t offer a footrest and doesn’t come with an Ottoman of its own.
LCH – KD 1015 Office Chair
Recommended For: Anyone looking for a low-priced Executive office chair, whose primary interest is comfort.
With generous padding and a curved chair back, sitting in this model feels more like sitting on your sofa than in an office chair, and we mean that in a good way! In our view, it’s the most comfortable chair that KADIRYA makes.
It offers a full suite of ergonomic design features and generously padded armrests. It’s hard not to like this model if comfort is your primary concern. Again though, all the same limitations we’ve talked about earlier still apply.
One thing we’d love to see here is for KADIRYA to upgrade this chair to be more like their flagship model. We like the KADIRYA High Back Leather Office Chair as it is, but if they included the hideaway Ottoman and increased the maximum tilt angle, this would be a great “swing” piece of furniture and would make an excellent napper, in addition to being a comfortable Executive office chair.
KADIRYA KD 1007 Executive Chair
Recommended For: It’s not flashy or exciting and has no stand-out features, but if none of the others are to your liking, this is a good option.
This model doesn’t have a standout feature like some of the other models we’ve talked about, unless you count the flip-up arms, but is a good, bare-bones model.
If you don’t care about the added comfort of the LCH – KD 1015, and you don’t want or need an office chair that stands in as a recliner, this is a great no-frills option to consider.
Because the manufacturer didn’t give this model any genuinely exceptional features, they reached a bit when describing the product, touting it as being waterproof (true, but that’s true of any bonded leather piece of furniture).
Also, for reasons currently unknown, spent an almost obsessive amount of time touting this chair’s “explosion proof hydraulic lift,” and made special mention of the fact that the base is similarly explosion proof, so there you go. This chair’s unique feature is that it won’t spontaneously explode on you…
KD 1020S High Back Mixed Upholstery Chair
A great-looking chair that offers the perfect blend between cloth and leather upholstery. Recommended for anyone.
This is probably our second favorite chair in the KADIRYA lineup. The significant, defining feature of this model is that it combined leather and cloth upholstery.
If you’ve sat on leather furniture before, you know the biggest drawback. It is (or can get) sweaty!
The KADIRYA High Back Mesh Office Chair neatly solves the problem by utilizing cloth upholstery anywhere your body would touch the chair, reserving the bonded leather for the accent areas.
In our view, this is the way to go. Not only does it provide a more comfortable sitting experience, but given the fact that bonded leather tends to show its age more quickly, this side steps that problem, too. Since you’re not sitting on the leather, it’s not going to show its age as quickly.
It wouldn’t surprise us in the least if this approach became the de facto standard for all chairs offered at the budget end of the market. Job well done, KADIRYA!
The 1020S has something else going for it, too. The headrest and seat cushion sport a double layer of patting, making it much more comfortable than you’d expect. Again, kudos to the company. This is a great, highly recommended model.
Pros and Cons of the KADIRYA High Back Executive Office Chairs
So where does that leave us?
We’ll start by saying that if you’ve got money to spend, KADIRYA probably doesn’t sell anything you’re going to want. On the other hand, though, if money is tight and you’re looking for an inexpensive way to get yourself set up with a reasonably comfortable chair that sports a full range of ergonomic features, there’s a lot to like in the KADIRYA lineup.
We would not say that any of their chairs achieve true greatness, but some of them come awfully close.
In our view, the pick of the KADIRYA litter are the following models:
We readily admit, however, that opinions will vary, so your assessment may not align perfectly with ours, and the reality is, at the prices the KADIRYA Office Chairs are offered at, any of them would make a good addition to your home or office, provided you bear in mind the limitations of the chairs this company produces.

For what they are, the KADIRYA High Back Executive Office Chairs are all surprisingly strong, and some of the company’s models come close to being what we’d consider great chairs. That’s a genuine surprise at the budget end of the market, and we were happy to see it.
Overall, we recommend the line, and we strongly recommend the models we identified as the “pick of the litter” in the section above. You won’t be disappointed.
