Are you frustrated with your current office chair?
Have you been looking for options for conventional office seating and found the search frustrating?
If you answered yes to either of those questions, you will like what you see in this Kore wobble chair review.
The Kore Wobble Office Chair is an impressive, surprisingly modestly priced design that provides the same basic workout sitting on a ball chair while giving you the versatility of a stool. It’s lightweight and easy to move from place to place, making it an incredibly versatile, capable alternative to the chair you’re sitting in right now.
Of course, like every other piece of office furniture on the market today, it has limitations and shortcomings. In the sections that follow, we’ll cover both in detail, showcasing the design’s strengths and not pulling any punches when discussing its weaknesses.
All that to say, if you’re curious to know more, read on, and let’s find out what the Kore Wobble Stool can do!
Key Features of the Kore Stool
The first thing you’ll notice about the Kore Wobble Office Chair is how little you notice it. It’s a delightfully unobtrusive piece of office furniture that fits almost anywhere. It’s styled along the lines of stools used as home furnishings, so if you wanted, there’s no particular reason you couldn’t replace your current breakfast bar or other stools with these.
Lift Configurations
Even better, although you can only buy your Wobble Stool in black, it does come in two different gas lift configurations, which gives you two different height adjustment ranges to choose from.

Classic
The Classic Kore Stool or Kore Office Plus Everyday Wobble Chair has a height adjustment range that starts at 18.5” and extends to 26.75”, which is perfect for most desks.
Executive
On the other hand, the Executive Plus stool or the Kore Office Plus Sit-Stand Wobble Chair starts at 21.5” and extends up to 32”, making it an excellent option for people who work on drafting tables or standing desks.
Whatever option you choose, the Kore Stool weighs a modest fifteen pounds, making it simple to pick it up and move it around as your needs change throughout the day.
Upholstery
You can also choose to have your Kore Wobble clad in either bonded leather upholstery or durable, breathable fabric.
Given that these stools weren’t optimized for sitting on them for several hours a day, either upholstery option will serve you well.
Do bear in mind, though, that bonded leather isn’t as strong or as supple as top-grain leather and, as such, will start showing its age more quickly. While both are good options, we regard fabric upholstery as the superior choice here.
Max Supported Weight
The final thing to note in this section is the stool’s weight limit. At a fairly modest 250 pounds, the Kore Stool is in line with most other alternative office seating products, but unfortunately, that weight limit means that it’s only useful to about 75% of the market. If you’re heavier than that, you’ll have to keep looking. As versatile as the Kore is, it isn’t the stool you’re looking for.
Adjustability
On the adjustability front, there’s only one thing to discuss, and we touched on it in the last section of our Kore Wobble Stool review. When you order this stool, the one choice you get to make at the point of sale is which gas lift configuration you want, and the height range is the only adjustable feature on offer.
The point of stools like these, though, and their main attraction isn’t extreme adjustability. It’s the fact that they provide you with active, dynamic seating, which gives you a constant low-intensity workout while you’re sitting on the stool.

Your core muscles will feel great, helping keep you fit and toned. You’ll burn more calories throughout the day, your balance will improve, and sitting on one of these will improve the circulation in your legs and keep your spine in proper alignment.
If you suffer from chronic lower back pain caused by spinal compression, have sore legs or circulation problems, or just want to invest in office seating that can play an integral role in your daily fitness routine, the Kore Wobble chair is a great choice and should be on your shortlist of products for consideration.
Comfort
Comfort-wise, the seat is reasonably well-padded with conventional block foam. Then again, it’s important to remember what this stool was for and who it’s optimized for.
This isn’t the type of office chair replacement you want if you plan to spend 8+ hours daily in front of your computer. This stool was made for people who sit for brief periods and then are up and moving to do something else, only to return to their perch a short while later for another brief period of sitting.
If that describes you, or if you can re-structure your workday to fit that type of schedule, then you’ll find the Kore Wobble quite comfortable. If not, you’ll probably be unimpressed.
Assembly is Fast and Easy
Although the Kore Design Wobble Stool doesn’t arrive at your doorstep fully assembled and ready for first use, the process is super simple. It will probably take you longer to get the stool out of the box than it will to put it together and sit down on it for the first time.
Interestingly, despite the simplicity of the assembly process, the Kore Wobble does come with an expert assembly option. Unless you have a phobia about putting office furniture together, though, we don’t recommend it. It will only take a few minutes to complete the process yourself, and the company charges a hefty fee for the service. Even so, it’s nice that it’s available for those who want it.
Pros and Cons of Kore Wobble Office Chair
There’s really nothing bad to say about the Kore or its design, except that it is a somewhat narrowly targeted piece of office furniture. You’ll either like what the Kore Design stool offers, won’t bother to give it so much as a second glance, or prefer other Kore office chairs.

Final Thoughts on Kore Wobble Office Chair Review
In our view, the ideal user for the Kore Wobble Office Chair is someone who:
The more these apply to you, the happier you’ll be with the Kore Wobble. The less they apply to you, the less satisfied you’ll be. On that basis, we provisionally recommend it.
