Are you in the market for a well-designed entry-level massage chair that blends in well with your existing décor?
Would you also love it if that chair included some substantial therapeutic benefits?
You’re in luck, and you’re going to enjoy this review, because the Omega Aires massage chair is all that, and more! We’ll take a deep dive into the surprising number of features this chair has to offer, to help you on your quest to find the perfect massage chair for you.
Let’s get started!
Omega Aires Massage Chair Overview
Before we talk about the specific features of the chair itself, we have to say at least a few words about aesthetics. Human Touch is the company best known for designing chairs that blend in seamlessly with almost any home décor, and many of the chairs they offer look like ordinary living room furniture.
Recently, though, Omega Massage Inc. has been catching up to Human Touch in that department, and the Omega Aires massage chair and other Omega chairs are excellent examples of their work in that regard.
By any reckoning, the Aires is stylish and attractive. While it’s true that it may not blend in with all kinds of home décor, it will blend in with many, and at a glance, when not in use, you’d never know it was a massage chair!
If aesthetics matter to you and you’re looking for a chair that’s capable of giving a great basic massage but won’t stick out like a sore thumb in whatever room you put it in, that’s a huge plus all by itself.
Features of the Omega Aires Massage Chair
Hide-Away Ottoman
We’re mentioning this feature first because it’s the primary driver of the aesthetic we talked about above.
One of the features that make massage chairs stand out, and make it obvious that the chair isn’t just another piece of furniture in the room is the existence of the leg massage ports. Only a few companies have adopted the use of a hide-away ottoman, and Omega incorporates it beautifully in the Aires design.
When the chair is not being used for its massage functions, the leg massage ports fold neatly into the underside of the chair, giving it the appearance of an entirely ordinary, attractive chair.
Air Massage Mode
The Omega Aires massage chair isn’t designed around either an S- or an L-Track. In fact, it doesn’t have back rollers at all! The entire back massage is rendered by the airbags strategically placed within the chair, making it a significant departure from other entry level chairs, most of which don’t have any airbags at all.
This surprising little chair utilizes a total of nineteen Second Generation airbags to deliver a remarkably high-quality compression-style massage. And with airbags in the seat and neck region, it’s a whole-body air massage, to boot!
The fact that the Aires relies on airbags exclusively makes it the stand-out feature of the chair in our book. A great idea, well realized by the company.
Calf and Foot Massage
This next feature is again something you don’t get to see in entry level chairs on the market, but the Omega Aires massage chair offers a high-quality calf and foot massage at a reasonable price.
While there are no massage rollers in the back of the Aires, its leg massage ports have foot rollers, which work with the airbags to deliver a much better leg and foot massage than you’d expect to get from a chair in this price range. The roller speed is adjustable via the remote, with three speeds available that provide additional customization options.
It gets even better, though. The Aires offers substantial therapeutic benefit to those who suffer from chronic leg and foot pain, because it also offers heat in this section of the chair!
Heat is all but unheard of in an entry-level chair, which makes this a real gem of a feature. If you suffer from chronic lower extremity pain, or if you have to spend hours on your feet each day at your job, this will quickly become your hands-down favorite aspect of the chair.
Simple, Intuitive Remote
As you might expect in a chair that doesn’t have a ton of features, the remote is simple, clearly laid out and easy to use. In fact, counting the power button, there are only eight buttons on the remote in all. You can be relaxing in this chair and enjoying a high-quality massage in no time!
More Options Than You Might Think
Of course, as an entry-level, budget-priced massage recliner for home use, you won’t get many options from the Aires. Nevertheless, the chair delivers more on that front than you might expect.
While the chair only offers a single pre-programmed air massage that provides you with a full-body massage from the back down to your feet, you are also given manual massage programs that you can choose from.
You can select from three manual massage programs that focus on either the feet and calves, waist, and whole back. Plus, if you want a gentle or firmer massage, you can adjust the air pressure or intensity of the air massage to three levels.

Pros & Cons of the Omega Aires Massage Chair
It would be easy to knock this chair for all the features it doesn’t have, but it’s important to remember that the Omega Aires massage chair is a budget-priced entry, and one of the least expensive chairs at the low-end of the price spectrum. As such, it wouldn’t be fair to talk about the advanced features it’s lacking, because the reality is that no budget-priced chair comes with advanced features.
It’s true, you don’t get Zero-G seating, tons of customization options, MP3 support, and a whole host of other things, but considering where the Aires lives in the massage chair ecosystem, it’s got more features than almost all of its competitors.
The long and the short of it then is most of the complaints we might have about the chair is easily explained by the fact that it is a budget massage chair, and for what it is, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a better value for your money.
If we had to pick one thing about the chair we wish Omega would have added, it would be an extendable ottoman. At present, the chair only delivers an optimal massage to users who are 5’ to 6’ tall. An extendable ottoman would have had a negligible impact on the unit’s price, and allowed it to serve a wider segment of the market, which would have been a big win in our book.
Omega Aires Massage Chair Review Conclusion
It’s a rare thing to find a budget-priced massage chair that offers genuine therapeutic benefits. But as you’ve seen from reading of our Omega Aires massage chair review, this model does a fantastic job.
Granted, it’s not at all difficult to find other chairs that offer a more robust set of therapeutic benefits, but you certainly won’t find more at the price point the Aires is offered at.
Whether you’re a hobbyist looking for a basic massage chair that can blend in seamlessly with your home’s décor, someone who suffers from chronic leg and foot pain, or just someone who’s looking for a decently appointed chair that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg, the Omega Aires massage chair is well worth considering.
We tend to be somewhat skeptical of budget-priced massage chairs because many of them tend to make too many sacrifices to deliver on the low price, but we were genuinely impressed with the Aires, and we think you will be too.
