It’s a top-end massage chair, and as such, it’s got a top-end price to match. But as you’ll soon see, the features this chair comes equipped with make it worth every penny.
Features of the Omega Montage Pro Massage Chair
Let’s begin by talking for a moment about aesthetics, because it is entirely possible to find a great quality massage chair that blends in seamlessly with any home décor. Unfortunately, this isn’t that chair.
It’s obvious at a glance what it is, and that can be off-putting to some people. Bear in mind, though, that the Omega Montage Pro was designed to meet a variety of specific therapeutic needs.
Yes, it may not have an attractive design, but this chair is obviously a workhorse, not a stylish piece of living room furniture. If you’re fine with that and are looking for the biggest therapeutic bang for your buck, then the look won’t matter much to you.

S-Track Design & 3D Rollers
The Omega Montage Pro is designed around an S-Track, which allows its quad rollers to track the natural curvature of your body’s spine, and the 3D feature of the rollers allows it to extend somewhat farther beyond the track itself to deliver a deeper, more penetrating massage.
This is a great starting point, and as you will see, many of the other features the Montage Pro offers builds on this framework to further enhance the quality of the overall massage experience.
Zero Gravity Seating
The Montage Pro offers not one, but two Zero-G seating positions. This is an excellent addition, and not at all surprising to see in a top-end chair.
The advantage of a zero-gravity seating position is that with your knees elevated slightly above your heart, more of your body weight is pressing down and against the rollers, which allows for even deeper penetration, and a better overall experience that provides maximum therapeutic benefit.
Heat Everywhere
The Omega Massage Montage Pro Zero Gravity Chair offers therapeutic heat. Not just lumbar heat, but heat everywhere you want it: the lower back, hips, and even on the calves and feet.
Even better, the intensity of the heat in each region can be independently controlled, or even turned off, if heat is not desired or required in a particular area. There are a lot of massage chairs reviewed on this site, and so far, this is the only one that offers such fine-grained heating controls.
The heat function is a superb addition because it is widely known that heat plus massage equates to an even better massage experience, giving this excellent synergy with the features we’ve talked about so far.
Air Massage Mode
The Omega Montage Pro massage chair features 30 second-generation air bags, which deliver a head-to-toe air massage of extraordinary quality.
If you’ve researched several massage chairs already, you may be somewhat taken aback by the number of airbags the Montage Pro contains. It is important to note, however, that this model uses Second Generation Air Bag Technology, and as such, delivers an excellent massage with fewer airbags.
You will be amazed at the quality of the massage you get in Air Massage Mode, and you may have to remind yourself that a human masseuse is not involved!
Note that the intensity of the air massage has five different intensity levels, and can also be set independently for the back and calves, allowing you to fully customize the experience.
Total Roller Adjustment Control
Something that comes as a surprise in the Omega Montage Pro is that it does not come with 3D Body Scanning Technology, which can automatically adjust the position of the rollers to target pressure points, based on the user’s body shape. Nevertheless, Omega’s alternative solution is an excellent one and is similar to how other leading manufacturers, such as Human Touch, handle roller adjustments.
Technology can go wrong at times, and because of that, some companies, Omega included, have opted for manual control. This allows you to set the roller position precisely to ensure that it hits all your pressure points, every single time. You can also adjust the width of the roller field. Taken together, this gives you Nth degree control over how the rollers massage your back.
Some people prefer the convenience of automatic body scan, while others prefer the ability to take more direct control. If you prefer the latter, then you’ll truly enjoy using this chair. If you prefer the former, then it will take some getting used to, but you’ll be pleased with the result.

The Omega Montage Pro massage chair comes with so many options that to fully control the chair, you need the built-in touch pad that pulls up from the right armrest. Here, you’ll find every conceivable adjustment option in a reasonably well-considered layout.
The problem, though, is that with such a staggering number of options available, it can be a bit overwhelming. This is not to say that you can’t sit on the chair and start enjoying a basic massage right away – you can.
Just know that you’ll be spending quite a bit of time familiarizing yourself with the various screens and menus, and you’ll spend days learning the intricacies of how this chair operates and discovering all that it has to offer.

Omega Montage Pro Massage Chair Pros & Cons
As you can see, this Omega massage chair gets a lot of things right. No matter how good it is, however, there are always at least a few improvements that could be made, and this model is no different in that regard.
If you’ve read other Omega Montage Pro massage chair reviews, you might be surprised to find that most people don’t bother to point out the chair’s shortcomings and to be fair, there aren’t many. We feel it is our duty, though, to be as complete as possible, so here are two things the chair lacks:
Our main complaint is the fact that there’s a learning curve involved with using the touchscreen panel. That’s always something of a trade-off.
The more features you add, the more complex using the device will ultimately be, and while Montage Pro does a fair job of laying out the controls in a logical manner, there are just so many features and types of adjustments you can make that some users are bound to find it overwhelming in the beginning.
We were also somewhat surprised to find that this chair does not offer a full body stretch function, even though it contains all the ingredients to offer that feature. This is especially perplexing, given the wide range of other therapeutic benefits on offer.
The only other minor complaint we have about this chair is that as a top-end device, we expected it to contain all the most popular features, bells, and whistles.
We regard it as an oversight then, that this chair was not built around Space Saving Technology, which would have made it appeal to an even larger segment of the market. Let’s face it, not everyone has the kind of space that a chair like this requires to make full use of its awesome array of features.
Aside from those three minor issues, however, this is as close to a perfect massage chair as you’re likely to find.

This Omega massage chair is a triumph of engineering, but more than that, it is designed to be a real workhorse. While casual users will certainly enjoy this chair, it’s not meant for occasional use. Moreover, the chair is priced beyond the budget of many hobbyist users in any case.
The features included in this chair are designed with maximum therapeutic benefit in mind, and in that regard, cater to those who suffer from chronic pain.
