In a Nutshell:
The LCH High Back Leather Office Chair is a surprisingly good chair for the money. Granted, low-end materials reduce its useful life, but this one’s better than you might expect. Recommended for anyone on a budget and under 250 pounds who’s looking for a low-cost executive chair with lumbar support.

Are you on a budget? Have you been frustrated by your inability to find an affordable executive chair that offers ergonomic supports? If you answered yes to either of those questions, you’re going to like what you will see in this review.
There are always trade-offs when buying anything in the value segment of the market. You can usually find a product with the features you want, but to keep the price low, you’ll give up something else. That’s just the reality of this segment of the market, and the LCH High Back Leather Office Chair is no different.
It’s not perfect, by any means, and even if you decide this isn’t the model you’re looking for, you’ll agree: Given its modest price tag, this is a good chair.
In the sections that follow, we’ll tell you everything this chair has to offer and what it lacks. So, you’ll have all the information you need to make an informed decision.
If that sounds good to you, let’s jump right in and see what the LCH Executive chair is all about!
An Overview of the LCH High Back Bonded Leather Executive Office Chair
The first thing you’ll notice when you see the LCH High Back Leather Office Chair is that it has an elegant and understated look for the money. You’ll be pleased with the aesthetic. And given the fact that it’s offered in basic black, it will fit in well with most home and office décor schemes.
Concerning basic stats, here’s what you’re looking at:
Adjustability, Comfort, and Extras
While there aren’t any extras on offer, the LCH High Back Bonded Leather Executive Office Chair is both comfortable and fairly adjustable.
The padding is standard block foam but thick enough to provide a comfortable seating experience. It falls short of being luxuriant, but you certainly won’t mind spending time in the chair.
It’s also covered with bonded leather. Leather in any form is a step or two above vinyl or cloth. But, bear in mind that this is bonded leather, which is at the low end of the spectrum.
Bonded leather is genuine leather, but it’s made from scraps that have been fused together. As such, it doesn’t have the same suppleness or longevity that grain leather does. Even so, leather in any form is a plus, especially at this price point!
The hydraulic mechanism allows the seat height to be adjusted within a range spanning from 17.7” to 21.7”. The chair also features a tilt mechanism that allows you to adjust the seat angle from 90 to 110 degrees.
We would like to note here in our LCH High Back Leather Office Chair review that while the hydraulic mechanism is of decent quality, it won’t stand up well to the rigors of repeated use. And if you’re close to the chair’s maximum recommended weight, you’ll find that the mechanism breaks down even more quickly.
Your chair will sporadically lower as you’re sitting in it, and at some point, you won’t be able to raise it again.
The casters are 2 inches in diameter, which is okay, but if your office has pile carpet in it, they’ll struggle. On every other type of flooring, however, they’ll be fine.
The base is a bit of a disappointment for being nylon, rather than metal. So again, you’re confronted with the realities of furniture in the value segment of the market. A good set of features paired with low-quality materials used in construction.
On the other hand, the LCH Executive Office Chair also sports ergonomic support features, which adds comfort and helps to encourage better posture. This is an excellent addition, but its usefulness is blunted somewhat by the fact that the chair doesn’t stand up well to heavy daily usage. Even so, ergonomic support is always a good thing!
Comes Unassembled
As with most furniture of this type, when LCH Reclining Leather Office Chair arrives at your doorstep, it will be in several pieces. It’s also rather heavy, and the low production quality combined with the low-end materials can make the assembly process a bit of an adventure.
If you’re doing the assembly solo, expect it to take you the better part of an hour. If you have a trusty assistant to provide an extra pair of hands, you can shave fifteen to twenty minutes off of the process.
Pros & Cons of the LCH High Back Leather Office Chair
There’s a lot to like about the LCH Office Chair. It’s more comfortable and adjustable than you’d expect for a chair offered at this price point. But those facts are countered by the relatively poor production quality and use of low-end materials.
Many LCH Office Chair reviews claim that it’s a decent value for the money. But the bonded leather will start to show its age quickly, and it won’t stand up well to rigorous daily use. As long as you know that going in, you’ll be happy with your purchase.
LCH High Back Leather Office Chair Review Conclusion
For the money, this is a good chair, and well worth a look if money is tight. Sure, there are better options available. But, if you need something right now, and you don’t have a lot to spend, the LCH High Back Leather Office Chair is an excellent choice.
Based on the above, it’s best suited for light to moderate use. It’s just not made well enough to stand up to the rigors of heavy daily use. But as long as you steer clear of that, it will serve you well. We recommend it.
