These are generally good numbers. Although the seat height doesn’t quite reach big and tall territory, which starts at 18”, it doesn’t miss that mark by much, and the other seat dimensions are a good match for the chair’s 400-pound weight limit.

When comparing this model to our top pick, the big thing to be aware of is that this one is a more lightly constructed chair. As such, it doesn’t weigh as much and supports correspondingly less user weight. Four hundred pounds is still pretty impressive, but if you need more than that and have your heart set on a wooden rocker, then the Mission rocker is the one you want.

At twenty pounds, this chair is heavy enough to withstand strong wind without getting blown over but light enough that moving it from one location to another will be trivial for most people.

Even if you’re not a member of the target market for this chair, it’s interesting enough that we wanted to give it a quick mention.

Before we tell you why you may want to consider it, let’s do as we have been and begin by looking at the core stats that define this model. Here are the basics:

These are impressive numbers. We’re incredibly excited by the generously wide seat and the five-hundred-pound weight limit. The chair is lightweight and collapses into a footprint, making it easy to carry. Note, too, that the handy cup holder is on the side of the chair.

In addition, this model features a nominally padded headrest with a block foam pillow attached to it via a Velcro strap. It’s not super thick, but there’s enough padding to be comfortable, adding value to the chair.
